But with Zhao Wendao and Nangong Yuan shielding Lu Ze, he couldn’t find an opportunity to retaliate—unless Lu Ze made a mistake.

Then came My World.

Judging by previous illusions:

Escape from the Demon Sect trained movement techniques, Plants vs. Zombies honed swordplay, Cultivator’s Descent sharpened trap evasion, and Immortal Realm Domination refined strategy and command.

Though some connections were tenuous, they at least loosely tied to cultivation.

The only exception was Legends of the Three Kingdoms.

But Legends of the Three Kingdoms had become wildly popular among the elders of various sects—Ding Mingcang didn’t dare touch it.

My World, however, was different.

What purpose did it serve?

How did it aid cultivation?

It was pure entertainment!

Creating such an illusion could only corrupt the minds of cultivators!

He refused to believe that even Zhao Wendao and Nangong Yuan could protect Lu Ze once the sect master’s decree was issued.

As expected, the game’s active player count still lagged behind Immortal Realm Domination and Legends of the Three Kingdoms.

This was largely due to its inferior graphics.

However, players who spent more than an hour in My World tended to log in daily without fail.

Take Zhong Yi’s group of four, for example.

This proved that the sandbox gameplay of survival and creativity still had immense potential in the cultivation world—especially after Lu Ze fused creation with cultivation.

Once players reached the Foundation Establishment stage, this demand became even more pronounced.

For instance:

Growing spirit herbs or raising spirit beasts required spirit-gathering arrays.

These arrays needed spirit stones and monster materials as components.

Players could obtain these materials by mining or slaying monsters—or they could exploit villager trading halls and monster spawners for infinite resources.

Moreover, the effect of a single spirit-gathering array was limited. Stacking multiple arrays required redstone technology.

Though this world lacked circuitry, the foundational principles of formations shared similarities with circuits.

By integrating redstone with formations, Lu Ze had created a system even more versatile than its Earth counterpart.

As players delved deeper, My World’s allure only grew stronger.

"These numbers still aren’t enough…"

Lu Ze frowned, lost in thought.

He had boasted to the Heavenly Dao remnant that he would prove the efficiency of illusions in culling cultivators within a month.

But the current adoption rate left him unsatisfied.

It had to improve.

Right now, My World had no predefined objectives.

Players set their own goals.

Some aspired to be master builders.

Others sought to reach the Golden Core stage and wield earth-shattering power.

A few abandoned humanity altogether, obsessing over villagers and redstone.

While this boundless freedom was its strength, it also left many players directionless in a world starved for entertainment.

To address this, Lu Ze decided to introduce specialized game modes.

With his plan set, Lu Ze swiftly issued an in-game announcement:
