This MC is a mess, I know that the author wanted to make an evil cultivator type MC and to lighten the mood made him a dense dunce that doesn't know why the girls act like that around him dunno what the author want introducing so many love interest to just make the MC be like : HUUUH? WHY IS SHE BLUSHING?? HUUH? POTATO?. This sh*t is definitely not funny.

Not a fan, I thought the MC was a anti hero, but he's not, he is a psychopath only restrained by his relative weak state. Example: Spoiler He tries to buy something from a merchant, the merchant refuses the proposed price, so the MC just kills him with this line : "He wasn't addicted to killing, but some people were addicted to courting death." Very good novel. MC truly awesome, can't be compared with the MC of the other novel in the same style (Martial World). There some part who are average but there quite rare. I sincerely recommend this novel.

The "ruthless, evil, cunning, emperor cultivator" MC already died at chapter 37 while playing around with some low cultivation gnat, except some dude unexpectedly came out to save him (like the MC literally closed his eyes and waited for death) —this is the kind of idiotic main character you'll be following. He dies again like 15 chapters later and is deus ex machina'd once more. MC is forced to drag 2 annoying kids around for no reason other than the author wanting it to happen. Every attack is shouted out like "Second tier martial skill, Thunder Skies Punch!" as tends to happen in most terrible cultivation stories, because that's how smart people fight. Dont read this novel ok. Just stick to the manhua. The early chaps are acceptable, but become garbage later on, there are few reasons: 1. Almost all the side-characters in the novel are a hindrance to the MC. Other comments only states the female because its just so obvious that ways. But man, all his allies at some point will just become useless and need to be saved all the time. As a demon cultivator, this guys really have the hearth of saint. PP in the novel always say all mc's actions are carefully calculated, but that's just nonsense. Most of the time, his plan consists of extremely convoluted sh*ts that had to have plot armor and unreasonable power-up to success. Its sound ok at first, but then you realise if this guy is not the MC, he would have been killed long ago. 4. Speaking of power-up, this guy just go hyper mode when it comes to cultivation and it didnt feel earned at all. Most of his times is just fighting people above his realm and then fused with some beast body parts or rare materials and then boom, jump stages or go straight to another realm so that he could fight pp above his realm, rinse and repeat.
