Chapter 3627: Relativistic Stamina

Chapter 3627: Relativistic Stamina

The way that his latest technique functioned was rather simple. He would convert matter into materia prima and then simply compress it within his hands to the absolute maximum degree that he could.

Eventually, for a given amount of matter, he would compress it in the form of material prima to a size smaller than its Swarzschild radius, the radius beyond which an object would become a black hole.

RUMBLE…

The very fabric of space and time quivered as the technique finally came to an end.

WHOOSH

He had created a black hole in the palm of his hands, one that was microscopically small, smaller than even a bacterial cell. And yet, he could see the light warping around it in the gravitational lensing effect associated with black holes.

WHOOSH

The black hole disappeared, fading away.

Rui frowned. “I forgot how quickly these things bleed out.”

All black holes emit Hawking Radiation due to a certain interaction between quantum fields and the event horizon, causing radiation to escape from within a black hole.

The smaller a black hole was, the quicker it dissipated and the more Hawking Radiation it gave off.

He reactivated the technique once more, compressing a tremendous amount of materia prima into his technique, squeezing it into a truly minute region of space.

The way that the technique compressed materia prima to such an extent was the ingenious part. Materia prima was electromagnetic energy; light waves, that matter converted into in accordance with E = mc². Since it was just light, he could apply the principles of constructive resonance to it.

He essentially beamed millions of light rays and waves of light at each at one point that was truly tiny, smaller than the Schwarzschild radius of the matter that generated that energy in the first place, and had them constructively superimpose at that one point, causing them to become one.

When they converged and constructively superimposed to merge into a single pulse of energy, the energy density exceeded the critical threshold, causing it to collapse into a black hole.

WHOOSH

A second black hole emerged in his hand.

Rui quickly began supplying it matter from his own body to keep it sustained, ensuring that the input was equal to the output, more or less, while he got electromagnetic radiation that he could absorb into his own body thanks to the Blood of Solaris.

His eyes lit up with realization. “Wait, I can just create endless energy this way, although maintaining this would be extremely difficult in combat. One wrong move and the black hole might just swallow me up.”

It was an interesting thought that he reserved to explore later; for now, the purpose of creating these micro-black holes was to generate powerful space manipulation without any breathing techniques.

His expression grew curious as he created a second micro-singularity, before placing the two next to each other, causing them to spiral around each other in orbit.

RUMBLE…

His eyes lit up as the black holes generated significant gravitational waves.

On top of that, they could keep each other sustained since one black hole ate the other’s hawking radiation, causing them to become more stable than if they were alone, bleeding all that energy at alarming rates.

WHOOSH

They revolved around each other in a manner that was surprisingly consistent with Newton’s gravitational laws for objects as extreme as they were. Rui poked them a little, accelerating them and causing them to draw closer and closer towards each other, which made them spiral faster and faster than ever before.

This drastically increased the amount of gravitational waves they generated.

“This is everything I need.” His eyes lit up.

All space-time manipulation at the Sage-level was based on gravitational waves applied and compounded with each other. Just like how superimposing sound waves could be used to levitate objects and generate a remote force, the same was true for gravitational waves.

Rui had successfully generated gravitational waves without using any breathing techniques, and he found that it was even more efficient than using heaven as a medium.

He created several more binary micro-singularity gravitational wave generators that produced powerful gravitational waves that he could use to accelerate himself, before aligning them in a way that mathematically and geometrically produced a powerful accelerating gravitational force on him.

“Let’s go.” His eyes sharpened as he propelled himself forward at high speeds, easily shattering the speed of sound in just a moment, accelerating even faster and faster.

WHOOSH!

He skipped an order of magnitude in speed, reaching Mach 10 in less than a millisecond before surpassing the speed of lightning in the very next as he shot through space and time at a high speed.

He laughed with jubilation. “Accelerating without any air resistance is the most fun feeling ever!”

WHOOSH!!!

Soon enough, he slowly began approaching the speed of light as he traveled through space faster and faster.

Simultaneously, his passage through time began slowing down, making the world seemingly accelerate in time around him. He needed to activate a reverse Temporal Disharmony on himself, accelerating his perception of time just to ensure he didn’t lose control while simultaneously exerting himself to keep up his Eye of Prophecy, adjusting his trajectory bit by bit as he searched the solar system for the Divine Doctor.

It took hours.

But his physiology had experienced less than an hour, allowing him to preserve his already high stamina extremely well. Simultaneously, he activated a gravitational wave sensory RADAR technique in addition to his vision of light to scan as much of the solar system as he could to feed into his Eye of Prophecy.

He found himself confronted with all the mining stations in the asteroid field within the solar system, as well as all the exoplanets that were monopolized by various true-world forces.

Rui went beyond all of them, reaching the outer regions of the solar system where all civilizational activity had ceased to exist.

His eyes lit up as he spotted a single distant spacecraft.

WHOOSH

He began slowing down gradually. Because there was no heaven or earth, there wasn’t a way to abruptly come to a halt and dispel his energy into the environment.

WHOOSH…

He slowly arrived before the small craft, studying it with a knowing expression.
