She’s your sister.
Chapter 232: 232 - She’s your sister.
The smile on the grand old man’s face suddenly disappeared.
After a moment of silence, he opened his mouth. "She’s your sister."
"Half sister. And you know Dad well, do you really think he cares about that sort of thing? She’s just a woman, the kind you’d find in any brothel." Xue Mo replied, drawing a defeated sigh from his uncle.
"You seem rather obsessed with a woman you can find in any brothel." The grand elder stood up, giving his plump belly a gentle slap.
"But I can’t deny her beauty, no one can. Even among her father’s other daughters, she is incomparable.
If we were to combine her beauty and her newly discovered talent, I doubt very much that you’d find a better woman in the whole cult."
"Uncle’s not wrong, hahaha," Xue Mo laughed. "But I need confirmation, will you help me with that?"
"Your father is in closed-door cultivation right now and the chief strategist’s condition has worsened even more. I’ll talk to him as soon as I get a chance." Xue Mo’s uncle said.
Without further ado, he bade his nephew farewell before leaving.
Xue Mo just sighed heavily as he settled into his chair, a big smile taking over his face.
He could already feel that woman just a few centimeters from his grasp, and that put him in a very good mood.
"Is everything all right?" He turned his face towards the servant and Qingyi, who were listening attentively.
The handsome young man was having to hold on with all his might not to throw himself down Xue Mo’s throat right then and there, but he knew it wasn’t the time.
"Yes, young lord." The servant bowed respectfully, as did Qingyi.
"Good." Xue Mo stood up, approached Qingyi and slapped him hard on the shoulder.
"I see you’ve made a breakthrough, congratulations. We’re going on a hunt to the forbidden forest in about a week, so prepare well."
Without even giving Qingyi time to reply, Xue Mo left.
"The young master seems to be happy, be grateful for that. You don’t want to be around when he’s angry." The maid turned around, watching Qingyi, who just nodded before being taken to his room and then released to do whatever he wanted.
He had only been there a short time, but he had already learned many things.
Firstly, the confirmation that Xue Mo was indeed a pig begging for his blade.
Something he was obviously already sure of.
Secondly, confirmation that the chief strategist of the demon cult was indeed seriously ill.
This was obviously very important information for the entire orthodox alliance, but it barely crossed Qingyi’s mind.
What he really needed was to make sure Ruyan was all right and to do that, he needed to act before Xue Mo finished his hunt.
"This isn’t going to be easy..." Qingyi gritted his teeth.
When he was at the peak of the crystalline core realm, he could already beat weaker cultivators from the peak of the nascent soul realm, but he didn’t dare believe that this breakthrough to the nascent soul realm would change much for him.
Rebirth realm cultivators were very different from nascent soul realm cultivators; their bodies underwent a complete rebirth, not unlike the bodies of transcendents.
Their power exploded to such a level that a single Rebirth realm cultivator probably had the power to kill hundreds of Nascent Soul realm cultivators.
Naturally, such a level wasn’t easy to reach, even considering Qingyi’s lineage.
"Ah... I should have asked for a duel with Tang Biyue. Qingyi spoke, his eyes narrowing as he let out a weary sigh.
He really needed to know more about the true power of a Rebirth realm cultivator.
Unfortunately, he didn’t have time for that right now.
Sitting cross-legged on his bed, Qingyi began to cultivate.
The next week was a busy one for him; he had to receive personal lessons from the servant master for at least an hour a day.
Those lessons were like torture for Qingyi, but he endured the six days of suffering before the day of young master Xue Mo’s hunt.
On the last day of the week, he activated the concealment arrays of the three-bladed monarch set and set off, stopping in a secluded place and clicking to improve his cultivation.
Five hundred and fifty thousand lust points were immediately wiped from his balance of lust points as his body was seized by a mild pain, his sea of mind shuddering slightly.
When this pain was completely replaced by a strange refreshment, Qingyi set off in the direction of Ruyan’s mansion.
This time, the demonic beauty was cultivating in her private cultivation room, totally unaware of the world around her.
Realizing this, Qingyi did nothing to disturb her, just sitting in the corner waiting until he heard the loud rocky creak of the cultivation room door opening.
"Husband!" Ruyan’s beautiful red eyes sparkled as she threw herself into Qingyi’s arms. "Did you remember me? What did that fat, tight little pussy do to deserve punishment from the husband this time?" She asked mischievously.
She seemed more excited than anything at the idea of punishment.
"Nothing," Qingyi gave a muffled giggle, observing the disappointed and cute expression that took over Ruyan’s face.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t appreciate that cuteness for long, and was soon forced to put on a serious expression.
"Your brother is going on a hunt in the forbidden forest, I plan to kill him there," he explained.
"Oh, finally! How is the husband going to kill that faggot? Are you really going to blow his balls off? I highly recommend this method! Even if you fail to kill him, I’m sure he’ll wish he was dead!" Ruyan said excitedly.
"Ah... why are you so obsessed with blowing off his balls?"
"hm... Because I am!"
"That’s... fair enough." Qingyi shook his head in defeat, deciding that there was no point in trying to fight Ruyan’s logic.
As long as it made her happy, he was happy.
