Chapter 247: The Fallen Youth, Lu Si'en
"Who! Who's following me!"
Lu Si'en suddenly turned around, looking behind him with a slight panic, but there was nothing there.
Today was pretty much the Wizard Academy's last day at the Witch Academy, and also the last time everyone could truly enjoy themselves.
He just wanted to walk around this bright and harmonious academy.
Even after returning to the Wizard Academy, where there were no so-called punishments, the academy's atmosphere was still very oppressive.
The terrifying Wizard Tower affected the weather, keeping the entire Wizard Academy in a dark place without sunlight.
But it was this thought that urged him to leave his residence.
After he went out, he felt a strange sensation.
The keen perception granted to him by his sorcery techniques told him that someone seemed to be intentionally following him, but he couldn't find them.
But this time when he turned back, he bumped his head into two soft... things.
"Ah?"
Lu Si'en subconsciously stepped back.
Seeing the person in front of him, he blushed instinctively.
What he had just bumped into seemed to be, seemed to be...
"S-sorry," Lu Si'en quickly apologized to the witch in front of him.
After all, he had never even held a girlfriend's hand at his age.
To suddenly reach this stage really left him at a loss.
And more importantly, this was the Witch Academy!
The witches' home ground!
If the witch in front of him suddenly made a move on him, he wouldn't be able to bear it.
And she didn't look like a newcomer.
He... he couldn't even defeat a newcomer from the Witch Academy, let alone a senior witch?
If this had happened at the Wizard Academy, he might have faced punishment and venting from the other party as the price for offending them.
"Eh? I recognize you, Lu Si'en, right? I saw you in the exchange competition."
This senior wasn't angry.
Instead, she started a conversation with him, her tone very cheerful.
"You... you know me?"
"Of course, the exchange competition has been much more popular these past few days than you'd think."
"What?"
Being told this, Lu Si'en was instantly embarrassed.
High popularity meant that more people had seen their disgraceful appearance!
How was this a good thing!
"What? Are you worried that your performance will be laughed at? It's okay, everyone has their own opinions. I think you were very impressive in the competition."
"Th... thank you."
This was the first time he had been praised since being eliminated, but he wasn't about to get carried away by it.
"How about I treat you to a cup of tea, senior? Let me tell you! Boys don't usually get to come into the Witch Academy. With you all coming to our Witch Academy this time, many people are gearing up."
"Huh?"
Lu Si'en didn't quite react to her words, but he soon realized that the Witch Academy was an all-girls' school, so there were no boys here.
No wonder he felt so popular.
"This time it's my treat. I heard that the environment and atmosphere at your Wizard Academy is very oppressive. How about you tell me about it? I've never been to your Wizard Academy."
This senior enthusiastically led Lu Si'en to a nearby tea house.
There weren't many people here, and it was on the second floor, offering a nice view of the scenery below.
"Our Wizard Academy... the atmosphere is indeed oppressive. It's ridiculous for new students. Those without talent receive no attention at all..."
At this moment, Lu Si'en also began to complain.
After all, he was still a newcomer.
After his chosen academy didn't match his expectations, he naturally started to pour out his grievances.
"Then you wizard apprentices must have it tough. Have you ever thought about transferring schools or something?"
"Transferring? How could it be that easy? The Wizard Academy would never let anyone go."
Lu Si'en subconsciously touched the location of his Sorcery Gu life worm.
It was a good thing that ensured his life wouldn't end abruptly, and it even granted a certain degree of immunity to curses and the like.
But if he left the Wizard Academy, it would kill him!
"So you're just going to live like this for the rest of your life? Your Wizard Academy's results in this exchange competition weren't exactly ideal. Don't get me wrong, I'm not mocking you, but I hope you realize what you'll be facing when you go back to the academy."
"I... I'm sorry, I have to go."
Lu Si'en put down his teacup and suddenly stood up, but as he stood up, he felt a wave of dizziness...
"What? You... you drugged me!"
"Don't make me sound so bad. This is just a powerlessness elixir. The trigger ritual is standing up. If you were willing to chat with me a little longer, the elixir might not have even taken effect."
"H... help..."
Lu Si'en wanted to shout for help but found that he couldn't make a sound no matter what.
At this moment, he finally fell into a helpless panic.
"I also added a silence ritual effect to prevent any commotion."
"What... what are you going to do?"
Lu Si'en opened his mouth to question her, but couldn't make much sound.
"What... am I going to do?"
The senior repeated his words by reading his lips, then smiled.
"It's nothing, I'm helping you, helping you solve your future worries. Don't be afraid, child."
"From now on, your name will be... Lucianne Polit. How about that? Welcome to the Witch Academy, and to becoming a happy witch. No longer will you have to suffer the oppression of the Wizard Academy, nor feel the oppressive academy atmosphere!"
At this moment, the senior's hand reached through Lu Si'en's collar and into his clothes.
Then Lu Si'en felt a pain in his shoulder, followed by a tearing sensation that filled his mind.
Then he saw a ferocious long worm being pulled out of his body by the witch in front of him.
At this moment, Lu Si'en's eyes were wide open.
That was his Sorcery Gu life worm!
How was that possible!
How could someone casually extract a wizard's symbiotic Sorcery Gu life worm!
"What an ugly thing."
The senior casually burned the disgusting worm with a spell.
Lu Si'en also felt a faint searing sensation, but before he could scream, the senior took out something else he couldn't see.
It was a Magic Power Source.
In Lu Si'en's eyes, it was just something held in her cupped hand, but Lu Si'en didn't think there was nothing there.
"Come don't be afraid, it'll just hurt a little. Become a witch with me, senior."
The senior shoved the Magic Power Source into Lu Si'en, oh no, she should now be called Lucianne Polit.
"Remember my name, senior. My name is Daphne Smedley, just call me Senior Daphne."
At this moment, Lucianne could only watch as her body was controlled by a powerful magic power, but Daphne considerately used a spell to prevent the strange phenomenon here from attracting the attention of others.
And this scene was not the only one happening.
Who could know how many other fallen youths from other academies would be forever stuck in the Witch Academy, never to return?
At this moment.
I walked out of Teacher Ji Niang's office.
I had just chatted with Teacher Ji Niang for quite a while and learned a lot of things.
And I also learned a very important thing, which was the "Witch's Secret Realm."
This was a place unique to the Witch Academy, provided for the students to undergo trials.
And its origin was the seniors who had graduated from the Witch Academy.
That's right, graduation represented becoming a Transcendent Witch.
After they graduated, they could apply to create a Witch's Secret Realm, taking the resources, notes, techniques, spellbooks, and even Magic Power Sources that they could leave behind or no longer needed after advancing to transcendent, and giving them special treatment to serve as rewards for the secret realm, providing a dedicated trial secret realm for new students.
It was also a way of giving back to the Witch Academy.
The Witch Academy didn't actually require graduated Transcendent Witches to give anything in return, but it didn't refuse such actions either.
The Witch's Secret Realm could be said to be a "custom" passed down from the very first graduating seniors of the Witch Academy.
It was also meant to be an incentive for the newcomers.
The Witch's Secret Realm was even managed by a special club, but the academy would also provide funding for it.
For example, for a Witch's Secret Realm that had already been cleared, if the academy felt that the secret realm had great training value, it would supplement the rewards and continue to leave it for the students to train in.
And the name of this club was also very direct, it was called the "Witch's Secret Realm Club."
The Witch's Secret Realm had developed to this day and had also undergone considerable changes from its initial form.
It had become the largest producer of spellbooks and Magic Power Sources in the Witch Academy.
Of course, entering the Witch's Secret Realm also required a fee, but the fee was not high.
The admission fee varied according to the difficulty of the secret realm.
After all, this fee was to prevent people from infinitely farming resources or occupying a spot without using it.
In addition, all the fees collected here were used for the maintenance of the secret realms.
After all, the secret realms existed in another space, and maintenance was no small trouble.
Of course, the difficulty of the Witch's Secret Realm was also not small.
Most of the time, there was actually no gain at all.
After all, this was a trial ground in itself.
The main purpose was the trial and self-learning.
If it was for the rewards, it would be putting the cart before the horse.
The reward was just an incentive, not the ultimate goal.
Unfortunately, many people in the academy didn't realize this.
Although I now had more spellbooks than I could use, I felt that the more spellbooks and Magic Power Sources, the better.
After all, who isn't a hoarder?
As for the exchange competition rewards, that was a matter of principle at the time.
Unfortunately, that fellow Tan Han was not sensible, so I had no choice but to take them all.
And now I needed such a place to improve my skills.
Although Teacher Ji Niang had said that the Witch's Secret Realm was not suitable for newcomers or low-grade reserve witches, after all, the ones who designed these secret realms were all seniors who had become Transcendent Witches!
There would always be those who didn't know their own limits, and Teacher Ji Niang also advised me not to aim for the rewards.
Even though I was already quite strong, it would still be very difficult to get the rewards.
But Ji Niang didn't say it was impossible, which meant I still had a chance.
After leaving Teacher Ji Niang's office, I didn't go straight back to my villa, but went to the library first.
I had already decided to develop both my skills and theory.
Taking advantage of the present, I naturally had to plan well what I wanted to read, make good use of the fragmented time in my life, and properly memorize all these things.
And it was to be recorded on the spell effect of the memory bookshelf spellbook.
Reading books on this would be twice as effective.
Just in case, I was now a celebrity of sorts.
My status as the first in the exchange competition had indeed brought me great fame, but it had also brought me great trouble, so I chose to go out in disguise.
I had been cornered at the arena before, which was how I was recognized.
I didn't believe that anyone could associate me with Yang Yuehan in this state.
I looked at myself on my phone.
My long white hair was loose behind me, not tied up, but the hairstyle was a bit strange.
However, after a little touch-up at the hair salon, it looked quite good.
I also experienced the troubles of girls getting their hair cut.
It was clearly not much of a trim, but it was very expensive.
Although I was praised many times for my good hair quality and beauty, in the end, they were all recommending various services, such as perming and dyeing.
Fortunately, I ran fast enough, otherwise I would have been kept there.
But I have to say, even in a small hair salon like this in the Witch Academy, the skills were still excellent.
It was just very time-consuming.
But that didn't matter.
Perhaps I really should slow down the pace of my life, otherwise I felt that I was already out of tune with the relaxed and joyful atmosphere of the Witch Academy.
I arrived at the library.
This was not my first time here, but the collection of books here was truly rich, with many paper books and electronic reading permissions.
And I happened to have advanced permissions.
This time, the books on runes I chose had begun to avoid popular science readings.
After all, I was starting to study formally, and popular science readings were indeed too watered down, just as Tan Han had said.
Apart from giving me my initial understanding, there was basically no substantive content.
But next, I was going to lay the foundation for the modding skills of the spellbook.
No matter how hard it was to chew, I had to study it well.
At worst, I would just use the Unity of Knowledge and Action spell for suggestions.
I was very clear that I needed a lot of learning.
Even if my body would involuntarily start to become lazy and relaxed, the Unity of Knowledge and Action spell would cure me of this problem.
It was a pity that this was just a speech-spirit spell used for self-suggestion, and not a spell that would truly allow me to achieve the ideal mental state of unity of knowledge and action after use.
But that didn't matter, it was enough for me.
The book on runes that Teacher Ji Niang gave me back then was still on basic runes, and I was also preparing to use this book for keyword searches to continue searching for this series of books.
After all, the more books of this kind, the better.
I looked at the time.
It was almost noon now.
It seemed that I had been delayed for a long time at Teacher Ji Niang's and the hair salon, but I wasn't hungry.
I decided to read in the library first.
After all, this was a library.
In theory, the learning atmosphere was very good, and I wouldn't be disturbed by others.
Time flew by, and the afternoon also slipped away bit by bit.
And my gains were also enormous.
I wasn't just reading books, but recording the key content of these books in my Memory Bookshelf spellbook.
This was recording it by hand once, going through it in my head once, and having the spell effect record it once.
The learning efficiency was very high.
This was my own accumulation, and it was much more convenient to look through than flipping through physical books.
Besides, physical books had a time limit for returning them.
Even if I had storage equipment, I didn't want so many books to occupy my storage space.
"Mmm"
I stretched my back to relax my body from sitting for a long time.
Even though I had so many Magic Power Sources and the modifications they made to my body, I still felt tired at this moment.
But if it were before, I would have been exhausted just by recording so many knowledge points and key points.
Now it was just a matter of stretching.
The modification and improvement of the body by witchification was still visible to the naked eye...
Although this was a library, it was still a bit different from the good learning atmosphere I had imagined.
During this period, I was hit on by many strange seniors.
But that was also... after all, I had experienced how thirsty those seniors at the Witch Academy were.
If it was a quiet girl who liked to study, there would always be seniors in the library pretending to study while actually hitting on them.
Looking at the situation now, there were quite a few of them.
And I was also glad that I had changed my hair and eye color.
As for my own appearance, I didn't change it much, because I thought my current appearance was pretty good.
Although the seniors who hit on me said I was quiet and had a literary air, when I thought about my performance in the exchange competition, wasn't this contrast a bit too big?
It seemed I had to change the way I appeared in others' eyes.
I was a witch dedicated to transcendent research, not a violent maniac.
I hope my performance in the exchange competition didn't leave a bad impression on the seniors and the guys from the other academies.
After all, it was in a dream state, everything was fake, couldn't I just let myself go?
I stood up, holding a stack of books, and put the books that had already been recorded in order according to their numbers.
As for the books that I hadn't had time to record, I prepared to borrow them.
"Please take good care of the borrowed books. If there is any damage, you will need to compensate for it according to the price."
"Yes, thank you."
After finishing the borrowing registration at the front desk, I took the stack of books and put them into my storage equipment.
It was time to go back now.
Why not bring some food back?
I'll ask if anyone in the dorm wants me to bring them food.
Now our dorm also has a group chat.
It was Hong Chenyi who took the initiative to set it up.
After pulling me in, she directly gave me the group owner position, and the group name was "Big Sis Xiao Han's Support Dorm," but I was too lazy to change the name.
Yang Yuehan: "Does anyone need me to bring back dinner? I'll see if it's on the way."

Why does she call the wizard "senior"
Good for him!
I wonder if anyone else we know got witchified? Would kind of suck if out of all of them, it’s just this bozo from the people we know.
Yeah if i were to bet then my money is on Yvette and Ai Ke, they got enough screen time to feel important without fitting into a future “rivalry” set up, and maybe Yu Mengrui (what witch could resist a cat).
Tho personally i’m hoping Yin Wenhao gets turned, I mean our girl did raise the flag by asking him if he had “any thoughts on becoming a dragon girl?”, it’s only right that we get it carried through ;)
FaI dont think Bests Academy would let htat little cat get kidnapp by the witches
