Chapter 22 : Snack Street

“Then, Bai Yu, will you just pick a random guest room to sleep in? How about the one across from mine?”

I thought for a moment and made the suggestion.

After all, this was my dorm now, and since I was the only one here for the time being, I called the shots!

“This is the dorm for you and your yet-to-meet roommate. How could I just use someone else’s stuff? That wouldn’t be polite. I think… your bed is pretty big. It's set up like a double bed.”

I panicked.

It wasn’t that I was afraid of Bai Yu doing anything to me, but I wasn’t used to sleeping with someone else!

“No sleeping on the floor. A girl needs to take care of herself,” Bai Yu said, pressing a finger to my lips before I could finish, her tone firm, almost like a command, leaving no room for argument.

Looks like sleeping on the floor was off the table… and I was even a little excited about it.

“Since there are four streets, can I ask what the other three are?”

Since Bai Yu wasn’t giving a straight answer, I figured the other streets were probably similar to Fengqing Street—whatever that was.

Don’t blame me for thinking naughty thoughts!

I couldn’t think of any other reason she’d avoid telling me.

Maybe Snack Street was the only normal one.

“Then I won’t hold back”

I looked at the street, clogged with senior sisters, and finally stopped at a small stall.

Tonight’s late-night snack would start with this oddly shaped fried treat!

The aroma made my stomach growl even more.

“Then let’s head back? Take a car or ride my broom?”

Bai Yu said, showing me her broom.

“If you’re scared, I can fly low and slow.”
