Hit Someone
"Release Junior Brother Ye at once!" the refined man addressed as Senior Brother Qin shouted angrily.
Clearly the more level-headed of the two, he recognized Gu Qingfeng's formidable physical strength and immediately drew the sword at his waist, charging forward.
Whoosh!
The divine weapon, gleaming with radiant light, sliced through the air like a silken ribbon, slashing fiercely toward Gu Qingfeng.
It was a peerless divine weapon!
Gu Qingfeng knew full well that his current physical resilience was no match for such a blade—but only if it was wielded with divine energy.
Without divine energy, a peerless divine weapon was nothing more than an electric car without power—utterly useless scrap metal.
And so, he extended two fingers.
Clang—!
Under Senior Brother Qin’s stunned gaze, those two jade-white fingers clamped firmly onto his divine weapon.
He yanked back with all his might, hoping to sever Gu Qingfeng’s fingers, but... no matter how hard he struggled, those fingers didn’t budge an inch.
At that moment, terror gripped his heart.
What kind of monster is this?! How can his body be so terrifyingly strong? Even my physique, tempered daily with sword energy as a Heaven Origin Realm cultivator, pales in comparison!
Is he from the Barbarian Tribe?
But his build doesn’t match... And aren’t the Barbarians confined to the Primordial Forbidden Land?
Doubts piled up in Senior Brother Qin’s mind.
"Senior Brother Qin, I’ll help you!"
A sharp cry rang out—it was Junior Sister Wen.
She raised her sword and dashed forward.
True to her reputation as a little rich girl, despite having been robbed of all her possessions just days prior, she now wielded yet another divine weapon—albeit a mid-grade one, but still exorbitantly valuable.
Hum!
A resonant sword cry echoed as a cold gleam flashed through the air.
Gu Qingfeng casually reached out with his other hand and caught the blade mid-thrust.
Junior Sister Wen’s face instantly paled, her expression like that of a startled rabbit. She strained with all her might to pull the sword free, but it was futile.
With a sudden tug, Gu Qingfeng yanked her—sword and all—toward him, simultaneously delivering a kick that sent Senior Brother Qin flying.
Senior Brother Qin felt as though his stomach had been rammed by an ancient primordial beast. His organs seemed to shift, his entire body convulsed as if struck by lightning, and he spat blood before crashing to the ground.
"You villain! Let me go! Let me go!" Junior Sister Wen thrashed wildly, even sinking her teeth into Gu Qingfeng’s arm.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
A hundred sword lights enveloped Gu Qingfeng’s vital points.
The attacker was the icy beauty known as the "Nan Gong" woman.
A true swordmaster, her skill was undeniable the moment she struck.
Despite being unable to channel divine energy, her pure physical technique allowed her to unleash a hundred sword flashes in an instant—a testament to her prowess.
Yet, no matter how exquisite the swordsmanship, if it couldn’t pierce the enemy’s defenses, it was little more than an itch.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The metallic clatter rang out incessantly.
The Nan Gong woman’s eyes widened in shock as she saw that not even a scratch marred Gu Qingfeng’s skin.
This man is unbelievably tough! There isn’t a single weak point on his entire body!
Most body refiners had vulnerabilities—no one could harden every inch of their flesh equally.
That was why she had struck a hundred times in an instant, probing for any potential weak spot.
She retreated swiftly, trying to distance herself from this humanoid beast, but Gu Qingfeng gave her no chance. He lunged forward, his massive hand clamping down.
"Let me go! X2"
Gu Qingfeng ignored their protests, allowing the two women to continue their futile attacks.
"Release them! X2"
Senior Brother Qin and Junior Brother Ye charged at him together.
Gu Qingfeng responded with a "hug of death," locking them in a crushing embrace before delivering two brutal kicks that sent them sprawling.
Then, with two more stomps, he buried their heads into the dirt.
Both men passed out.
Just as Gu Qingfeng raised his foot to finish them off, the Nan Gong woman cried out in alarm, "You can’t kill them!"
Gu Qingfeng raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Is one of them your sweetheart? Point him out, and I’ll let him watch the next part."
Flushed with fury, the Nan Gong woman was too enraged to speak. As a high-ranking disciple of the Sword Sect, she had always been revered and pampered—never humiliated like this.
"This venerable one asked you a question, and you dare ignore me?"
"Ah! X2"
"You fiend... I swear I’ll kill you!"
The icy demeanor of the Nan Gong woman had completely melted away, replaced by sheer indignation.
"Oh ho? Still threatening me, are we?"
Slap! Slap! Slap!
A flurry of heavy-handed strikes rained down.
Before the Nan Gong woman could retort, Junior Sister Wen burst into tears.
"Waaah... Why are you hitting me too when it was Senior Sister who threatened you?!"
"Stop crying. I didn’t hit your face, so what’s there to cry about?"
Neither woman dared speak another word. As exalted immortals, they had never suffered such disgrace—it was worse than death.
Gu Qingfeng raised his foot again to finish off the two unconscious men.
Desperate, the Nan Gong woman blurted, "You can’t kill us! All Sword Sect disciples are registered, and each has a soul tablet stored in the sect. If we die, the tablets will shatter, and our auras will mark you as the killer. The Sword Sect’s supreme elders will hunt you down!"
Gu Qingfeng was taken aback.
Damn! So this is how the Imperial Court’s immortal sects operate?
They’ve got all these tricks—even soul tablets?!
How tyrannical! It means they can kill others, but if anyone dares kill them, their old monsters come seeking vengeance.
Screw this!
This venerable one wants to join the Imperial Court’s immortal sects too!
If you can’t beat them, join them—no shame in that!
But since killing them was off the table, and letting them go would only invite retaliation, the only option left was to make them suffer—so miserably that they’d be too ashamed to even report it to their elders.
