Pretty simple reason, liked the world building, although it was repetitive I never got tired of it. Always refreshed the page for new chapters, just really really good novel. Author did a great job in portraying an overpowered main character with an actual brain. Never overestimated himself, always stayed low-key unless he's strong enough to handle the consequences. I also like how the author evolved his cheat along the way, it made a lot of sense, especially how the author delivered the ending. Solid power fantasy... I guess. MC becomes absurdly overpowered on the reg with zero effort. No other characters thus far. MC is *very* Chinese - zero attachment to "family" and doesn't make friends. Doesn't care about anyone. Enters a world, almost dies, is rescued by a kind-hearted old man, raised by said kind-hearted old man, and when that kind-hearted old man gets killed in front of him, he just "gazed calmly from a distance" and his "eyebrows furrowed slightly." That said, MC acts like he's your average dozens-of-thousands-of-years-old cultivator, even down to helping out those who help him purely to prevent negative karma. Yet, through all of the decades/centuries he spends... he never forms *any* sort of bond. There are *no* other characters. Even in the "real" world he eschews all sorts of bonds - he doesn't care about family, friends, he never even has a mild stirring in his heart about a woman. In fact, if a woman is interested in him, it's because she's a manipulative gold-digger. If having an MC with a heart is important to you, skip this one. If you like "cold-hearted MC that doesn't care about anyone else" then this is popcorn. I am legit sad about how the MC treats his parents, who sacrifice for him, despite knowing that the MC doesn't care because he's a transmigrator, thus they're not his parents. Come on bud, your mom was willing to help you run from the interstellar government, throw her a bone and say "hi mom" every now and then. World-building is basically "Chinese dystopian future" in the most boring way possible. This is because there is no need for world-building. All of the Gate adventures into alternate worlds are "MC is a genius! Skip five years. MC broke the heavens and was an a**hole! Skip five years." <<less

personally, I don't like the way author treats the non-human races the human race treats humans pretty bad as well i can't imagine what mental gymnastics the author had to go through to justify the MC being loyal to humans when they have done nothing worthy of any kind of loyalty they're equivalent to those parents saying you must be filial because I gave you a roof and food, like, that's the bare minimum, you've done nothing else

It's a scifi xianxia where the author wrestles with an MC having an insane cheat and the most ridiculous level progression, trying to contain it with the most reasonable pacing he could manage. Honestly it's quite good, not exactly the best but it's great if you just want to spend 3 days doing nothing but read novels. Pros: Really good power scaling and world building. You can really see the author thought it through, other authors would be completely lost after their MCs get past the first major arcs, but this novel ... more>> makes it its mission to redefine the power scaling every 50 chapters. Decent pacing. The MC spends hundreds of years in the worlds he visits, and then spends months or years in the main world where he's basically an unrivaled genius. Surprisingly the pacing is quite good despite that, because the MC minimizes his interactions in the main world as much as he can so the main content is basically the MC visiting other worlds which keeps the story fresh. Daily uploads. What can I say, I love daily uploads, so props to the translator. Cons: Low substance. The novel doesn't spend a lot of time dwelling on each moment, which is fine for me since I like fast pacing, but the consequence is that the chapters are really just junk food material. Repetitive writing. It's not the worst out there, but the author will milk every bit of opportunity he finds. One of the most obvious examples is how the same characters will react to the MC breaking through different stages, and how the reaction changes slightly each time. Another one is how the author will keep on reiterating the benefits of the mc's breakthroughs. There's one particular example, where when the MC levels up his citizen level he gets a potion to increase longevity to the corresponding level in order to keep non-combatant experts live longer, except it doesn't offer any combat ability and only longevity etc etc. Stretch that sentence into 5 paragraphs and repeat it every time the MC levels up, it's really quite blatant. Inconsistent numbers. Now I'm not sure if this is the source or just the translation, but the numbers change even during the same chapter which gets really obvious when the author is trying to milk the word count by repeating information. It is what it is, even if it's the translation side or source side, either way I don't really mind since at the end of the day the numbers don't really matter and it's hard enough for them already to even keep up the upload frequency. All in all a good novel to waste your time on, as long as you keep your expectations low it will serve its purpose. <<less

Disappointing. Utterly So. There is no proper story. The protagonist behaves like a emotionless idiot, lacking response for everything. He is also narrow-minded and foolish. I am forced to drop after first thirty chapters! It is just that unbearable. ... more>> For example, take when he first goes to another world. His artefact is extremely op, so how can someone who never cultivated use it? It makes no sense. When he first goes to the new world, imagine what he says? "Oh, a martial world.." As if!doesn't he feel any amazement at the new environment free of machines? Dissatisfaction that he couldn't view his shows? Doubt about the weird voice that gives legendary techniques? When he goes back, he quickly regains power by drinking potions! This directly contradicts the cultivation system in the lower world. Also, if the technique is just from such lower world, how it is even so powerful? Then, after he finally achieved a great status that is rare in the galaxy, it must be rare on the planet too. One would expect the high status people to start visiting. But what do we have? Flower of the class, not even the flower of the planet! How come? And is the MC insane? Why is he going to slapping contests and stuff? Why is he so afraid of getting recruited when he always had the method to bypass it? The world building sucks! The MC is also bad.[/ spoiler] <<less

A very enjoyable novel. The MC is a little bit more of a Deus Ex Machina than other novels of this genre. Its lighthearted and fun. The pacing is a little bit to fast for my taste.

rating: 7/10 Very fast paced and easy to read bovel with an OP protagonist. You can just turn you head off and enjoy. It is entirely plot based with somewhat diverse worldbuilding (world hoping theme). Characters and dialoges are very shallow. A but too much word fill in the latest chapters but it is understandble with the fast pace of release and it's easy to skim through. Og and another very good thing - the aithro doesnt forget the concepts and numbers he introduced.

I read the raw and this is the second kind of novel of this type I read where MC gets unlimited transmigration the first one being Fantasy Simulator. That said however Fantasy Simulator has a much more interesting main world than this one, this novel's main world feels more like an anchor point for power level references that the main character goes back too; which I do not mind too much, just treating them as reading fillers chapters. However, as the story goes on, the author force and focuses more and more ... more>> on the main world, the transmigration ability/stories/world building gets totally tossed to the side. For example he enters a world for 1100 years which is the longest he's ever been in a world but because of the timeskip of 1090 years there's basically less and less chapters & building up to read on each new world despite staying longer and longer. Was all these timeskips necessary ? Absolutely not, it was done so so that we could go back as fast as possible to the main world where he is impossibly prestigious your elders & goddesses will be at his feet, wealthy beyond comparison, so overpowered that not only he is already unrivaled on the same level but capable to overcome multiple stronger foes at once like nothing, bleh. Now if only the main world was much more interesting to read with intrigue like Fantasy Simulator I would not mind but honestly the main world was the blandest thing I've ever laid my eyes on; if I go so far as saying the main world basically started off as sh*t then whatever the author is doing right now is ignoring the cake that would be his transmigration ability and focusing more on sprinkling his sh*t with layers and layers of sugar hoping we will end up liking it and I do not. The only interesting part of the main world if I even had to force myself to is when he references various powers, insight and gains he earned from the transmigration but that's it. I am stopping at chapter 380 where it is his 9th or 10th transmigration ? It started off so well, waste of time. <<less
